Mars University Recognized for Improving Associate and Business Performance
24 March 2009 - United States
Mars University took home top honors recently, winning “excellence” awards in two categories of the 10th Annual Corporate University Xchange Awards for Excellence and Innovation in Corporate Learning.
Sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business School and Fortune magazine, the awards recognize corporate and government learning organizations that demonstrate programs and practices that improve associate and business performance.
As the longest running independent evaluation of corporate learning and talent programs, the Corporate University Xchange awards have set the standard in corporate learning as the most prestigious and difficult to win for a decade.
“These prestigious awards validate the great learning activities that take place day in and day out in Mars organizations around the world,” said Jon Shepherd, Chief Learning Office, Mars, Incorporated.“ They also reinforce Mars as an employer of choice to prospective recruits, demonstrating that we are a company where you can build your talents and have the freedom to make a difference.”
