Local structure

The Mars Portugal unit employs approximately 80 Associates, who are spread over five departments - Marketing, Sales, Logistics, Finance and Human Resources. As Multisales Unit, the main focus of Mars Portugal is promoting their brands and selling their products.

Geographical Information

Mars Portugal is based in Porto Salvo that is located only 15 minutes from Lisbon.

Lisbon (Portugal’s capital) is spreading out along the right bank of the Tagus River.
You should visit the downtown (Baixa), the medieval quarters of Alfama and Mouraria, and the magnificent St. George's Castle. You should visit on west side of Lisbon the typical streets of Bairro Alto and Madragoa, and on the western side, the Belém Tower, (the sentinel over the Tagus River that protects the entrance into Lisbon), the Jerónimos Monastery (masterpieces of Manueline architecture and classified in UNESCO list) and the Cultural Centre.

We also recommend you to visit the historic center of Sintra, where you could find the National Palace, the Pena Palace, the Seteais Palace, and Monserrate Palace, renowned for its gardens. You should also go to Cabo da Roca, the most western point in Europe.
